The men’s lacrosse team finished 7-9 overall and went 4-4 in their first year in the Knickerbocker Lacrosse Conference. Two players were named All-Conference, junior Ryan LaFlare received First Team honors and senior Scott Rothbaum was named to the Second Team. LaFlare led the team offensively, with 53 points (47 goals and 6 assists) and was shy of breaking the schools All-Time scoring record by just nine goals. LaFlare was also ranked 19th in the Nation this season for goals per game. Sophomore Gianluca Carrabs led the team in assists and ranked 31st in the Nation in assists per game. Junior Joe Gritser, the Rams #1 face-off man, ranked 41st in the nation in face-off win percentage. Seniors Scott Rothbaum and Matt Ramacca will be graduating this season...

Farmingdale, NY - The Farmingdale State men's lacrosse team improved to 6-7, 4-2 in the Knickerbocker with a 13-9 victory over Richard Stockton (6-6, 3-3 Knickerbocker) on Saturday afternoon in Farmingdale, NY. Stockton jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first before sophomore attacker Gianluca Carrabs (Glen Cove, NY/Glen Cove) got the Rams on the board with 3:15 left in the quarter to cut the deficit to 3-1. Farmingdale, NY – The Farmingdale State men’s lacrosse team dropped to 4-6 this afternoon with a loss against visiting Oswego State (2-5) in Farmingdale, NY. Oswego State junior attack Steve Tronovitch (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Forks) scored the game-winning goal with 2:03 left in the game of a pass by senior attack Jeff Salisbury (Oswego, NY/Oswego) to give the Lakers the come-from-behind victory after being down by three at the end of the 3rd quarter.

Hackettstown, NJ - On Thursday afternoon, the Rams won their second Knickerbocker Lacrosse Conference game against Centenary College 12-6. In the games opening quarter it looked like it was going to be Centenary's day, as the Cyclones jumped out to a 4-2 advantage. The Cyclones Ryan Loomis (Bridgewater/Bridgewater) tallied both of his goals in the first 15-minutes of play, putting the home team ahead by the two-goal cushion. Unfortunately from there, the Cyclones offense went silent as the Rams defensive pressure combined with a strong face-off, which won 14 of the games 21 starts, did not allow another Centenary goal until the two-minute mark of the third quarter...
