Boston, Mass. - The men's and women's indoor track team traveled to Harvard University in Boston, Mass. on March 6th and 7th to compete in the ECAC Championships. New York, N.Y. - Farmingdale State senior captain Chris Okolie (Bronx, N.Y./Hills East) smashed his own school record (47' 1 1/4") with an ECAC qualifying throw of 51' 2 3/4" on Friday, January 25th at the Great Dane Invitational in the New Balance Track & Field Center in New York, N.Y. Chris placed 8th in the event. Sophomore Kensley Norian (East Meadow, N.Y./East Meadow) ran 22.83 in the 200-meter Dash to also qualify for the ECAC meet. Collegeville, Pa. - The men's and women's teams placed second and ninth respectively out of 14 NCAA Division II and III teams. Kutztown State (Pa.), a Division II school, won both competitions narrowingly beating Farmingdale 87 to 80. The men's team was led by senior captain Reggie Routier and junior Naveed Mohammed. Reggie triple jumped 14.01m (45' 11 3/4"). This is a national provisional qualifying performance. Reggie is the current Farmingdale triple jump record holder at 14.33m (47' 1/4"). The women's team was led by junior Cathryn McLean. McLean won the high jump and ran the anchor leg on the winning 4X200m relay. An exceptional volleyball player in addition to her track accomplishments, Cat was Farmingdale State's 2006-07 Female Athlete of the Year. She is ECAC qualified in the high jump, 1.62m (5' 3 3/4")...

New Haven, Conn. - On Sunday, December 2nd at the Collegiate Track Conference Relays held at Yale University, the men's indoor track team placed second and the women's team placed fourth. This was the highest team finish in school history. The men's team had eight ECAC Qualifiers (6 individuals and 2 relays), while winning three relays, four seconds and four thirds. The women's team had one second, two thirds and five fourth place finishes...
