Farmingdale, N.Y. - Farmingdale State senior attack Philip Schaefer* (Holbrook, N.Y.) was named to Lacrosse Magazine's Player of the Week Honor Roll on Monday, February 23rd.
Schaefer led the Rams to an 8-6 season-opening victory over non-conference opponent Scranton on Saturday. He recorded a game-high four goals, picked up a team-leading four ground balls and caused one turnover in the victory.
The Rams return to action on Saturday, February 28th at 1:00 p.m. when they play host to Oneonta State.
