Wesleyan Earns Road Victory at Farmingdale State

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State men's lacrosse team fell, 16-3, in a non-conference game against Wesleyan University this afternoon in Farmingdale, N.Y. The Rams dropped to 5-5 on the season.

The Cardinals (7-2) outscored the Rams 6-0 in the first period and scored the first two goals of the second period to take an 8-0 advantage. Freshman attack Matthew Visintin (Yonkers, N.Y.) put Farmingdale State on the board with 8:13 left to play in the period. Each team added one more score before the break as Wesleyan took a 9-2 lead into halftime.

Wesleyan extended their lead to 16-2 before the Rams scored the games final goal and fell 16-3.

Visintin, sophomore attack Matthew Finn (Huntington Station, N.Y.) and junior midfielder Andrew Incantalupo (Shirley, N.Y.) each had one goal for Farmingdale State.

Senior midfielder Brendan Hanley (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) tallied a game-high four goals, while junior attack Graham Macnab (Winter Park, Fla.) and sophomore midfielders Quentin DellaFera (Locust Valley, N.Y.) and Stephen Dobb (Old Greenwich, Conn.) each scored two goals for the Cardinals.

The Rams next will host Mount Saint Mary on senior day on Saturday, April 6th at 1:00 p.m.
