Matthew is a 2011 graduate of Walt Whitman High School. He transferred to Farmingdale State from York College, where he played one season of lacrosse. He is the son of Margaret and Joe Finn.
Sophomore year...Led the team with 36 goals and finished second in scoring with 40 points...Posted a single-season school record for man-up goals with 12 and led all Skyline players for man-up goals per game (0.86)...Also finished 7th in the conference for goals per game (2.57) and 11th for points per game (2.86)...Ranked 23rd in the Nation for shot percentage (.486).
