New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Spring weekly report #4 on Monday, March 25th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Pitcher of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.

Men's Tennis Update (3-0, 1-0 Skyline) - Full Report

The Rams picked up a pair of victories this past week with wins over Dowling and St. Joe's.

Sophomore Justin Vijungco (Forest Hills, N.Y.) was named to the Skyline Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll. Vijungco earned a victory at #1 singles in the Rams' 7-2 victory over St. Joseph's.

Farmingdale State will resume action with home scrimmages against Nassau CC (April 2) and Suffolk CC (April 3) before hosting Brooklyn College on Saturday, April 6th at 1:00 p.m.

Baseball Update (9-9, 3-1 Skyline) - Full Report

The baseball team swept Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday and split a pair of games at Old Westbury on Sunday.

Sophomore second baseman Tom Rydzewski (Franklin Square, N.Y.) and junior pitcher Chris Dragone (Hicksville, N.Y.) were each named to the Honor Roll. Rydzewski batted .500 (5-for-10) in a 3-1 week for the Rams. He was 2-for-3 with an RBI in game two versus MSV and was 3-for-5 with a run scored, 3 RBI and three stolen bases in the 8-4 win over OW. Dragone earned the win after tossing five scoreless innings of relief in the first game against Mount Saint Vincent.

This week the Rams will host Baruch in a 9-inning game on Tuesday, March 26th at 3:30 p.m.

Softball Update (6-8, 3-1 Skyline) - Full Report

Farmingdale State posted a 3-1 record this past week with a two game sweep of Old Westbury and a split with St. Joseph's.

Sophomore pitcher Taylor Tedeschi (Levittown, N.Y.) was named Co-Skyline Conference Pitcher of the Week. Tedeschi went 2-0 over three appearances with a 1.87 earned run average in 15 innings pitched. She hurled a complete game shutout with four strikeouts in the 3-0 win versus St. Joe's. Tedeschi allowed one earned run while fanning five as FSC notched a 6-2 victory over Old Westbury.

Senior first baseman Jennifer Jarczynski (West Babylon) was named to the Skyline Honor Roll. Jarczynski led the team with a .455 batting average this week. She was 2-for-4 in game one vs. Old Westbury and 2-for-3 in game one vs. St. Joseph's.

The Rams host a pair of doubleheaders this week including Hunter College on Thursday, March 28th at 3:00 p.m. and Brooklyn College on Saturday, March 30th at 1:00 p.m.

Men's Lacrosse Update (3-4, 1-0 Skyline) - Full Report

The men's lacrosse team was 2-0 last week with wins over Manhattanville (13-8) and Maritime (15-5).

Sophomore attack Matthew Finn (Huntington Station, N.Y.) and freshman attack Matthew Visintin (Yonkers, N.Y.) were each named to the Honor Roll. Finn led the Rams to a 2-0 week highlighted by his nine goals, three ground balls and three caused turnovers against Maritime. He finished the week with 10 goals. Visintin scored three goals and had three assists for six points. He scored three goals and had one assist against Manhattanville and tallied two assists vs. Maritime.

This week Farmingdale State travels to Richard Stockton for a Skyline game on Wednesday, March 27th at 7:00 p.m. and host Briarcliffe on Saturday, March 30th at 2:00 p.m.

Women's Lacrosse Update (5-2, 3-0 Skyline) - Full Report

Farmingdale State was 2-1 this week with conference wins over Mount Saint Mary (18-9) and Maritime (17-1).

Sophomore midfielder Christy Thoden (Bayport, N.Y.) was named to the Skyline Honor Roll. Thoden tallied eight points on four goals and four assists this week. She scored two goals, had two assists and nine DC's against Mount Saint Mary and scored a goal and added two assists versus Maritime.

This week the women's lacrosse team will host Mount Saint Vincent on Wednesday, March 27th at 4:00 p.m. and Purchase on Saturday, April 30th at noon.
