Farmingdale State completed the fall 2004 season with a second place finish at the Skyline Conference Championship held at Tall Grass Country Club located in Shoreham, NY. Division II Dowling College posted a team score of 304 to take a commanding lead after day one of the Farmingdale State Invitational. Farmingdale State and Nassau CC are tied for second with a team score of 325. Suffolk Community College's Craig Wiley shot a low round of 74. Farmingdale's Tom Koprowski and Dowling's Joe Ingoglia trail Wiley by one shot after each posted a score of 75. Joe Ingoglia shot a two-day total of 147 leading Dowling College to an easy victory at the 1st annual Farmingdale State Golf Invitational held at Bethpage State Park?s Red Course. Ingoglia posted scores of 75 and 72 earning the individual championship while teammate Bill Phillips shot rounds of 76 and 75 to finish in 2nd place individually. Dowling?s two- day team total of 612 easily defeated second place Farmingdale State, whose score of 656 edged Nassau CC by only two strokes...

Tom Koprowski (Hauppauge, NY/ Hauppauge) shot a match low 76 and Patric Santiago (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin ) shot a 77 leading the Farmingdale State golf team past Nassau CC and Suffolk CC in a tri-match at St. Georges Country Club on Monday, April 11th. Freshmen Chris Garrido (Syosett, NY/Syosset) - 80 and Kyle Havas (Lindenhurst, NY/Lindenhurst) - 81 posted impressive scores in their first match of their College careers. The Rams travel to Tall Grass Country Club this Friday (4/15) to compete in a five-team match hosted by St. Joseph's.
