- Voiklis and Pozo earn First Team honors -
New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference's 12 head women's volleyball coaches have voted for the 2019 edition of the all-conference team. Farmingdale State senior middle blocker Kelsey Voiklis (Commack, N.Y.) and sophomore libero Madisyn Pozo (Bayside, N.Y.) each earned First Team honors.
Voiklis led the Skyline Conference in total blocks (102), block assists (57) and solo blocks (47) and was sixth in points (370.5), eighth in attacking percentage (.250) and 12th for kills with 288. She will leave Farmingdale State ranked second all-time in block assists, total blocks and blocks per set (0.92). Voiklis was also named to the All-Sportsmanship team.
Pozo was the Skyline leader in digs with 503 and ranked second with a 4.53 dig per set average. She was named Skyline Conference Libero of the Week three times this season. Pozo also led the Rams in service aces (54) and ranked third in assists (53) in her first year at FSC. She set the single season school record for digs and the all-time mark in digs per set.
