Head Coach: Kellie Block (3rd season)
Coach Kellie Block joined the Farmingdale State staff in September of 2021 and holds a record of 31-18, including a record of 20-2 in Skyline Conference play. Coach Block has been named Coach of the Year by her Skyline peers in both of her first two seasons.
Prior to FSC, Block was the Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach at Lindenhurst High School from 2004-2017. She led the team to three Suffolk County Championships (2008, 2009, 2010) and three Regional Championships (2008, 2009, 2010).
Coach Block also coached the Girls Varsity Volleyball teams at Half Hollow Hills East High School (1990-2003) and Huntington High School (1991-1995). At Huntington High School, she led the team to a pair of Suffolk County Championships.
Since 1994, Block has been a K-5 Physical Education Teacher at William Rall Elementary School in Lindenhurst. She is the Co-Director and Head Coach at the Academy Volleyball Club and has held this position since 1990.
Block graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from SUNY Cortland in 1990. She received her Master’s Degree in Special Education from Dowling College in 1998. In 2000, Coach Block earned her Administration Certification from the College of New Rochelle.
Kellie lives in Seaford with her husband Rory and has two children.
