Cadle-Hinton Leads Rams to Fifth Straight Victory

Farmingdale, N.Y. - Senior middle-blocker Maia Cadle-Hinton (Huntington, N.Y.) recorded 14 kills and a career-high .824 kill percentage to lead the Farmingdale State women's volleyball team to their fifth straight victory, 3-0, over Old Westbury. FSC improves to 3-0 in conference play and 12-7 overall.

The Rams won the first and second sets by the same score of 25-17 and followed with a 25-14 victory in set three to secure the 3-0 sweep of the Panthers (9-9, 1-5 Skyline).

Farmingdale State junior setter Lauren Anne Strezenec (Merrick, N.Y.) tallied a game-high 32 assists, while FSC sophomore setter Julia Hande (Islip, N.Y.) totaled a match-leading 11 digs, along with 11 kills. Senior libero Stephanie Etersque (Deer Park, N.Y.) also produced a match-high four serving aces and both sophomore middle-blocker Kelsey Voiklis (Commack, N.Y.) and junior defensive specialist Meaghan Moran (Islip, N.Y.) registered five kills for the Rams.

Old Westbury was led by junior middle-blocker Sidasia Johnson (Far Rockaway, N.Y.) who recorded a team-high five kills and four blocks and freshman setter Kristin Grieshaber (Levittown, N.Y.) who tallied nine assists.

FSC next travels to St. Joseph's College for a Skyline Conference match on Thursday, October 12th at 7:00 p.m.
