Skyline Releases Weekly Report #9

New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Fall weekly report #9 on Tuesday, November 3, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball.

Women's Soccer Update (12-5-2, 9-1 Skyline) - Full Report

The women's soccer team received the #1 seed for the Skyline Conference playoffs. The Rams will play host to #4 St. Joseph's-LI in the Semifinals on Wednesday, November 4th at 5:00 p.m. The winner advances to the Skyline Finals on Saturday.

Junior midfielder Amanda Khare (Deer Park, N.Y.) was named to the Player of the Week Honor Roll after a two goal effort in the regular season finale versus Mount Saint Vincent.

Men's Soccer Update (10-8-1, 6-3-1 Skyline) - Full Report

The men's soccer team headed into the playoffs as the #3 seed and earned a 2-0 victory over sixth-seeded Yeshiva in the First Round. FSC now will travel to #2 St. Joseph's-LI for the Semifinals on Wednesday, November 4th at 7:00 p.m with the winner advancing to the Skyline Finals.

Sophomore midfielder John Kender (Farmingdale, N.Y.) was named to the Honor Roll after scoring the game-winner early in the second half against Yeshiva. Later in the game, he assisted on J.T. Famularo's insurance goal to clinch the win for the Rams.

Women's Volleyball Update (13-14, 6-4 Skyline) - Full Report

Farmingdale State entered the playoffs as the #5 seed and fell, 3-0, at #4 St. Joseph's-LI in the First Round on Tuesday evening.
