- Women's soccer, women's tennis and men's golf selected to capture Skyline Titles -
New York, N.Y. - The Skyline coaches have made their predictions for the upcoming 2015 Fall sports season.
The league will crown champions in men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, women's tennis, men's golf and women's volleyball. The respective winners will represent the conference in NCAA Championship competition.
The Farmingdale State women's soccer team received seven first-place votes and 97 points overall as they were selected to capture their ninth consecutive conference title this season.
The women's tennis team was selected to earn their third straight Skyline Conference title as they tallied seven first-place votes and 49 total points.
The men's golf team, who is in search of their eighth straight conference title, garnered four first-place votes (34 points) to edge St. Joseph's who had 33 points and three first-place votes.
The Farmingdale State men's soccer team was selected fifth in the preseason poll with 59 total points.
The women's volleyball team also was picked to finish fifth in the Skyline after totaling 68 points.
The women's and men's cross country teams were selected fifth and sixth, respectively. The women recorded 59 points, while the men received 54.
