Palladino and Cadle-Hinton Named All-Conference for Volleyball

New York, N.Y. - In voting conducted by the league's 10 women's volleyball head coaches, senior opposite Sarah Palladino (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) and sophomore middle blocker Maia Cadle-Hinton (Huntington, N.Y.) were both named Second Team All-Conference.

Palladino led the Rams in kills (249), kills per set (2.15) and service aces (103) and ranked second in assists (224) and digs (203). Palladino led the Skyline Conference in aces this season. She will leave Farmingdale State as the all-time leader in career kills with 929.

Cadle-Hinton was the leading blocker on Farmingdale State with 82 and was second on the team in kills (230), kills per set (1.93) and aces (67). Cadle-Hinton's 82 blocks was the most in the conference.

Junior middle hitter Heather Ferchland of St. Joseph's has been named the 2014 Skyline Women's Volleyball Player of the Year and Maritime's outside hitter Shannon Brady earned Rookie of the Year honors.
