Skyline Releases Fall Weekly Report #11

New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the Fall weekly report #11 on Monday, November 11th, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics for men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball.

Women's Soccer Update (13-9) - Full Report

The women's soccer team captured their seventh consecutive Skyline Conference Title with a 2-0 win over top-seeded Mount Saint Mary College. The Rams earned the conference's automatic bid to the 2013 NCAA Women's Soccer Tournament.

Sophomore goalkeeper Breanna Blair (Littleton, Colo.) was named Skyline Conference Player of the Week. Blair compiled seven saves to register her sixth shutout of the season as Farmingdale State defeated Mount Saint Mary College in the finals. Blair was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Championship and now has 50 saves on the season.

Freshman midfielder Amanda Khare (Deer Park, N.Y.) was named Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week. Khare scored the lone goals of the match as she recorded tallies in the 65th and 87th minutes on November 9th to lead the Rams to a 2-0 win over Mount Saint Mary in the finals of the 2013 Skyline Championship. This marked her second game-winning goal of the season. Khare has amassed 17 points on the year with eight goals and one assist.

The Rams will face SUNY Oneonta in the First Round of the NCAA's on the campus of William Smith.

Men's Soccer Update (9-7-4) - Full Report

Farmingdale State traveled to Mount Saint Mary College for the Skyline Conference Championship game and fell, 2-1, to the Knights.

Women's Volleyball Update (14-23) - Full Report

The women's volleyball team lost 3-0 to St. Joseph's on Saturday in the semifinals of the Skyline Conference playoffs.

Cross Country Update

At the ECAC Championships in Bristol, R.I., the women's team finished a program-best 33rd, while the men took 40th place.
