Jamaica, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team won their sixth straight game after earning a 3-0 victory over non-conference opponent York (NY) on Thursday evening. The Rams improved to 8-16 on the year, while the Cardinals fell to 3-14.
Junior outside Sarah Palladino (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) led Farmingdale State with a game-high 12 kills, while freshman middle blocker Maia Cadle-Hinton (Huntington, N.Y.) tallied seven kills. Sophomore libero Francesca Calderon (Wheatley Heights, N.Y.) had a game-high nine digs and sophomore setter Megan Pisciotta (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) led the way with 23 assists.
The Rams next will face Mount Saint Mary (10:00 a.m.) and Mount Saint Vincent (12:00 p.m.) in a Skyline play date on Saturday, October 12th at Mount Saint Mary College.
