Farmingdale State - 3, Brooklyn - 0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-13)


Hoboken, N.J. - At the second day of the Stevens Invitational, Farmingdale State picked up a 3-0 victory over Brooklyn College. The Rams improved to 5-16 on the year, while Brooklyn fell to 5-8 overall.

Farmingdale State was led by sophomore outside Karen Ulysse (West Hempstead, N.Y.) who recorded a game-high 10 kills, while freshman middle blocker Barbara Wright (Farmingdale, N.Y.) had seven kills. Junior outside Sarah Palladino (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) tallied a game-leading 11 digs and added four service aces. Sophomore setter Megan Pisciotta (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) had 27 assists and three aces on the day for the Rams.

Farmingdale State next will face both Old Westbury and Yeshiva on Sunday, October 6th in a Skyline Playdate at Baruch College.
