Rams Defeat CCNY in Straight Sets

Farmingdale State - 3, CCNY - 0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-12)


Hoboken, N.J. - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team earned a 3-0 straight set victory over CCNY on Friday at the Stevens Invitational in Hoboken, N.J. The Rams improved to 4-16 on the season, while CCNY dropped to 6-8.

Junior outside Sarah Palladino (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) tallied a game-high 11 kills and added eight digs and four service aces for Farmingdale State. Freshman middle blocker Maia Cadle-Hinton (Huntington, N.Y.) recorded eight kills (.533 att. %), while freshman libero Samantha Morra (West Babylon, N.Y.) had game-high's with 10 digs and eight aces. Sophomore setter Megan Pisciotta (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) led with way with 28 assists in the victory.

The Rams next will face Brooklyn College on Saturday, September 28th at 11:00 a.m. for the final day of the Stevens Invitational.
