Wayne, N.J. - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team fell in a pair of matches at the William Paterson Invite on Saturday. The Rams now stand at 0-5 on the season.

In the match against Manhattanville (4-2), the Valients won in three straight sets. Farmingdale State was led by sophomore opposite hitter Amanda Masson (Rockville Centre, N.Y.) who had a team-leading seven kills and a .467 attack percentage. Sophomore setter Megan Pisciotta (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) tallied 17 assists, while sophomore libero Francesca Calderon (Wheatley Heights, N.Y.) recorded 11 digs for the Rams.

William Paterson improved to 3-0 on the season after a 25-9, 25-17, 25-14 three set victory over Farmingdale State. Freshman middle blocker Maia Calde-Hinton (Huntington, N.Y.) led the way for the Rams with nine kills, while Calderon had 12 digs. Junior Sarah Palladino (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) registered 20 assists in the loss.

Farmingdale State next will face Baruch at 4:30 p.m. and FDU-Florham at 6:30 p.m. for a tri-match at Baruch on Tuesday, September 10th.
