The Rams opened the 2013 season with a 2-0 non-conference victory over Albertus Magnus on Saturday. Senior goalkeeper Angelo Viteritti (Huntington, N.Y.) was named Co-Skyline Player of the Week after tallying six saves and recording his first shutout of the year.

Farmingdale State hosted their annual Rams Classic and the team posted a 1-1 record. On Friday, the Rams earned a 1-0 victory over SUNY Geneseo and then fell 3-0 to Skidmore on Saturday.
Sophomore forward Ashlee Thompson (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) was named to the Player of the Week Honor Roll after scoring the game-winning goal in the 76th minute versus Geneseo.

The Rams started the season 0-3 after losses vs. CCNY, Wentworth and Merchant Marine at the Kings Point Invitational.
Junior outside Sarah Palladino (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) and freshman middle blocker Maia Calde-Hinton (Huntington, N.Y.) were each named to the Honor Roll. Palladino was named to the All-Tournament Team after averaging 2.55 kills while adding 29 digs over 11 sets and Calde-Hinton compiled 23 kills and 11 blocks on the week.

The men's and women's cross country teams kick of the 2013 season at the St. John's Invitational held at the Oakdale Campus on Saturday, September 7th.
Women's Tennis Update (0-0, 0-0 Skyline)
The women's tennis team will open the season with a home non-conference match against John Jay on Wednesday, September 4th at 4:30 p.m. The Rams will travel to York (NY) on Saturday for another non-conference match at 1:00 p.m.
Men's Golf Update
The men's golf team opens the year at the Tim Brown Invitational hosted by Skidmore College on Saturday, September 7th and Sunday, September 8th at Airway Meadows Golf Course in Gansevoort, N.Y.
