Farmingdale, N.Y. - The 2012 women's volleyball season came to an end after falling, 3-2, at third-seeded St. Joseph's College in the first round of the Skyline playoffs. The Rams posted an overall record of 12-12 and were 6-3 in the conference this year.

Sophomore outside Sarah Palladino (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) was named First Team All-Conference and senior outside Holly Sahner (Dix Hills, N.Y.) earned Second Team All-Skyline honors.

Palladino, who started every match, led the team in kills (306), kills per set (3.73), service aces (49) and digs (199) this season. Sahner led the Rams in hitting percentage, ranked second in kills (185), kills per game (2.98), service aces (30) and digs (171).

Freshman setter Megan Pisciotta (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) led the Rams with 462 assists and a 5.78 assist per set average, while also adding 120 digs and 21 service aces. Freshman outside Morgan Valinoti (St. James, N.Y.) was third on the team with 97 kills this season.

Farmingdale State will be graduating one senior this year.
