New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the 2012 All-Conference women's volleyball team on Tuesday, November 13th. Sophomore outside Sarah Palladino (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) was named First Team All-Skyline, while senior outside Holly Sahner (Dix Hills, N.Y.) earned Second Team honors.
Palladino led the team in kills (306), kills per set (3.73), service aces (49) and digs (199) this season. In the conference, she ranked first in both kills and points per game, sixth in aces per game and tenth in hitting percentage. In Skyline matches, Palladino led the Rams in kills (128), kills per game and aces (23). Her 3.73 kill per game mark this season is second best all-time at Farmingdale State.
Sahner led the Rams in hitting percentage, ranked second in kills (185), kills per game (2.98), service aces (30) and digs (171). Sahner ranked second in the Skyline in hitting percentage and fifth in kills per game. In Skyline matches, she led FSC in hitting percentage, digs (90), digs per game and is ranked second in kills (97), kills per game, aces (16) and aces per game (0.53). She leaves Farmingdale State as the all-time leader in attack percentage and is ranked second in both kills per set and aces per set.
