Rams Split at Rutgers-Camden Tri-Match

Camden, N.J. - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team split their pair of matches as the fell 3-0 to host school Rutgers-Camden and shutout Lehman 3-0 in the Rutgers-Camden Tri-Match on Saturday afternoon.

Against Rutgers-Camden, the Rams (9-7) were led by senior outside Holly Sahner (Dix Hills, N.Y.) who had a team-leading six kills and seven digs. Sophomore outside Sarah Palladino (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) and freshman outside Angela Kranz (Bohemia, N.Y.) each tallied five kills, while freshman setter Megan Pisciotta (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) recorded 16 assists.

Senior middle Kristin Koloski (Cinnaminson, N.J.) and junior middle Morgan Halbruner (Voorhees, N.J.) each had eight kills for the Scarlet Raptors.

In the win over Lehman, Palladino had a game-high 18 kills and five service aces as well as nine digs. Sahner added nine kills and 11 digs, while Kranz notched eight kills and nine digs for Farmingdale State. Pisciotta picked up 36 assists in the victory.

The Rams next will host Skyline opponent Old Westbury on senior night Tuesday, October 16th at 7:00 p.m.
