- Sahner and Palladino receive First Team honors, while Cunningham named Second Team -
New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the 2011 All-Conference women's volleyball team on Wednesday, November 16th. Junior outside Holly Sahner (Dix Hills, N.Y.) and freshman setter Sarah Palladino (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) were named First Team All-Conference, while senior outside Dominique Cunningham (Amityville, N.Y.) received Second Team honors.
Sahner led the team in kills (236) and was second in aces (63), digs (194) and blocks (24). She held a team-leading 3.19 kills per game average. Sahner ranked second in the Skyline in kills per game and service aces per game and ninth in hitting percentage this season.
Palladino was ranked second in the nation and led the Skyline Conference in service aces per game as a freshman. Palladino was fourth in the Skyline with a 7.24 assist per game average this year. She set Farmingdale State school records for assists per game and service aces per game average.
Cunningham was second on the team in kills (209), third in digs (168) and fourth in service aces with 43. She ranked fifth in the Skyline in kills per game and 10th in service aces per game. Cunningham is ranked third all-time at FSC for career kills and blocks.
