Rams Fall to St. Joe's on Senior Day

St. Joseph's - 3, Farmingdale State - 1 (22-25, 25-17, 25-11, 25-20)


Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team fell, 3-1, to Skyline Conference opponent St. Joseph's College this evening in Farmingdale, N.Y. Senior's Renee Milevoj (Bethpage, N.Y.), Dominique Cunningham (Amityville, N.Y.) and Jessica Zimmermann (Seaford, N.Y.) were each honored as they played their final regular season home game as a member of the Rams.

Junior outside Holly Sahner (Dix Hills, N.Y.) led Farmingdale State with a team-high 15 kills and 13 digs. Cunningham recorded 12 kills and 13 digs, while Zimmermann had 13 digs. Freshman setter Sarah Palladino (Lindenhurst, N.Y.), who is currently ranked second in the nation in service aces per set, had a team leading three aces to go along with 32 assists. Milevoj added four kills, four digs and an ace for Farmingdale State.

The Rams head into the Skyline Playoffs as the #5 seed and will travel to #4 Old Westbury in the first round on Wednesday, November 2nd at a time to be determined.
