Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team swept both matches today in their home Skyline playdate as they defeated Yeshiva and Mount Saint Vincent each 3-0. The Rams improved to 7-2 overall and a perfect 2-0 in the Skyline Conference.

In the win over Yeshiva, junior outside hitter Holly Sahner (Dix Hills, N.Y.) had a game-high eight kills, while senior opposite Renee Milevoj (Bethpage, N.Y.) had seven kills for the Rams. Freshman setter Sarah Palladino (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) had 22 assists, six service aces and six digs for Farmingdale State. Senior libero Jessica Zimmermann (Seaford, N.Y.) led the way with 13 digs in the victory.

Against Mount Saint Vincent, Sahner recorded 12 kills and 10 digs, while Milevoj has six kills and 10 digs. Palladino had a game-high 28 assists for the Rams.

Mount Saint Vincent's senior libero Renee Reynes (Bronx, N.Y.) led the way with a game-high 22 digs.

Farmingdale State next will play Purchase at 10:00 a.m. and Maritime at noon on Saturday, September 24th in a Skyline Conference playdate at Purchase College.
