Women's Volleyball Receives Two All-Conference Selections

- Holly Sahner named First Team, Dominique Cunningham named to Second Team -


Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team had two players named to the All-Skyline Conference team. Sophomore outside hitter Holly Sahner (Dix Hills, N.Y./Hills East) was named First Team All-Conference, while junior outside hitter Dominique Cunningham (Amityville, N.Y./Copiague) was named Second Team All-Skyline.

Sanher led the team and was second in the Skyline with 271 kills, holding an impressive 3.04 kill per set average. Sahner was fifth in the conference in hitting percentage, had a team-high 189 digs and 37 service aces this season. Holly started every match for Farmingdale State in her first season with the team.

Cunningham, who received All-Skyline honors for the second consecutive season, was second on the team with 177 kills. Cunningham recorded 160 digs (3rd on team) and blocked 19 shots this year.
