Newburgh, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team fell, 3-0, this morning at Mount Saint Mary College in the Skyline Conference semifinals. The Rams finish the season with an overall record of 12-13.

The top-seeded Knights (21-9) won three straight sets as they advance to the Skyline Conference finals.

Sophomore outside hitter Holly Sahner (Dix Hills, N.Y./Hills East) finished with a team-high 12 kills and seven digs for Farmingdale State. Freshman setter Lindsey Fisher (Seaford, N.Y./Seaford) had 13 assists, five kills and five blocks, while junior outside hitter Dominique Cunningham (Amityville, N.Y./Copiague) had seven digs and five kills. Juniors Jessica Zimmerman (Seaford, N.Y./Seaford) and Renee Milevoj (Bethpage, N.Y./Bethpage) led the way with 12 digs a piece for the Rams.

Farmingdale State improved from last year winning four more games and earning their first birth into the Skyline playoffs since the 2007 season.
