Patchogue, N.Y. - After winning the first set of the night, the Farmingdale State women's volleyball team fell in three straight sets to fall 3-1 to Skyline opponent St. Joseph's (10-15, 5-4) on Wednesday night in the Danzi Center in Patchogue, N.Y. With the loss, the Rams dropped to 10-9, 6-4 in the Skyline.

Farmingdale took a 25-22 victory in set one, before falling 25-17, 25-17 and 25-22 over the next three. Sophomore outside Holly Sahner (Dix Hills, N.Y./Hills East) led the Rams with 14 kills, 12 digs and three service aces. Junior libero Jessica Zimmermann (Seaford, N.Y./Seaford) had a team-high 14 digs, while freshman setter Lindsey Fisher (Seaford, N.Y./Seaford) totaled 16 assists for the night.

Farmingdale State will now play in the upcoming Skyline Conference Playoffs, starting on Wednesday, November 3rd in the quarterfinals. Opponent and site of the game will be announced at a later date.
