Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's volleyball team fell to Skyline opponent Old Westbury, 3-0, this evening in Farmingdale, N.Y. The Rams drop to 9-7, 5-2 in the conference, while the Panthers improved to 19-7, 6-1 in Skyline play.

Old Westbury took the first set 25-22, before an extended second match saw four ties with the Panthers coming out on top 30-28 for a 2-0 lead. The third game would also go Old Westbury's way with a final score of 25-19.

Sophomore outside Holly Sahner (Dix Hills, N.Y./Hills East) finished with team-highs of 11 kills and 15 digs. Freshman setter Lindsey Fisher (Seaford, N.Y./Seaford) had 23 assists, while junior libero Jessica Zimmerman (Seaford, N.Y./Seaford) had 11 digs.

The Rams will now travel to Purchase College for two Skyline games, facing Purchase at 10:00 a.m. and NYU-Poly at Noon.
