Skyline Releases Women's Volleyball Report #7
- Sahner Named Player of the Week, Fisher Named to Honor Roll -
Clifton Park, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the
seventh women's volleyball report for the 2010 season on Monday
afternoon, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor
Roll and Conference statistics.
Sophomore outside Holly Sahner (Dix Hills, N.Y./Hills East) was named the Skyline Player of the Week, after averaging 3.33 kills and 3.07 digs per set while hitting .374 (50-7-115) in five matches for the Rams last week. Sahner hit .348 or better in four of the five matches. In a four-set match against Lehman, she recorded 20 kills with just two errors in 38 attempts (.474) while adding 11 digs. She also recorded 10 kills, five service aces and 13 digs against St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn.
Freshman setter Lindsey Fisher (Seaford, N.Y./Seaford) was named to the Player of the Week Honor Roll, as she averaged 6.56 assists and 2.44 digs in five matches for the Rams.
