Rams Drop Pair of Non-Conference Games

Lehman vs. Farmingdale State - Lehman wins 3-0 (25-10, 25-18, 25-13)
Patchogue, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's
volleyball team fell in both non-conference games on Saturday,
losing 3-0 to St. Joseph's-Brooklyn and 3-0 to Lehman College in
Patchogue, N.Y.
In the game against St. Joseph's, freshmen Dominique Cunningham (Amityville, N.Y./Copiague) and Jessica Zimmermann (Seaford, N.Y./Seaford) led the Rams with four kills each. Freshman Shelby Martin (New Paltz, N.Y./New Paltz) had 11 assists for Farmingdale State.
In the game against Lehman College, freshman Alyssa Siegel
(Carle Place, N.Y./Carle Place) had a team-high five kills for the
Rams, Cunningham had four. Freshman Alexandra Peters (Cochecton,
N.Y./Sullivan West) had three service aces, while Martin and
Zimmerman had two each. Martin also had 10 digs in the match.
Farmingdale State next hosts Old Westbury in a Skyline Conference game on Tuesday, October 21st at 7:00 pm.
