The Farmingdale State (7-10, 2-1 Skyline) women’s volleyball team defeated visiting Mount Saint Vincent (6-13, 0-3 Skyline) 3-0 tonight for their second conference win of the season. The Rams won the first and third games 30-25 and the second game 30-22.
Sophomore Megan Cranmer (Hicksville, NY/Hicksville) finished with a game-high 29 assists. Freshman Cathryn McLean (East Northport, NY/Northport) led the team with 9 kills, four solo blocks and 10 digs. Freshman Brittany Baran (East Northport, NY/Commack) totaled 8 kills, one block and three service aces.
Mount Saint Vincent’s Katie Balch (Peekskill, NY/Peekskill) led the team with seven kills. Jessica Thorn (Farmingdale, NY/Colts Neck) finished with 11 digs for the Dolphins.
The Rams next game is on Monday, October 10th against conference opponent Stevens in Hoboken, NJ at 7:00pm.
