- Jang named First Team, Chukwuezi named Honorable Mention -
Pitman, N.J. - The New Jersey Athletic Conference has announced the 2013 men's and women's outdoor track All-Conference Teams. Senior Mike Jang (Lynbrook, N.Y.) earned First Team honors in the hammer throw for the men and senior Faustine Chukwuezi (Central Islip, N.Y.) was named Honorable Mention in the triple jump for the women.
Jang won the hammer throw at the Conference Championships with a toss of 49.66m. He placed first out of 11 contestants at the meet.
In the triple jump at the NJAC Championships, Chukwuezi's mark of 10.97m earned her a third place finish in a field of 15 competitors.
