Four Rams Named All-Conference for Women's Tennis

COMPLETE SKYLINE CONFERENCE RELEASE

NEW YORK | The Skyline Conference's seven women's tennis head coaches have voted on the fall 2022 edition of their all-conference team and Farmingdale State College has four selections with Head Coach Adam Waterhouse tabbed the Coach of the Year.

Senior Anastasia Hoffman (Massapequa, N.Y.), who was named the Most Outstanding Player of the Skyline Conference Championship on Saturday, earned a spot on the First Team along with sophomore teammate Lien Collings (Merrick, N.Y.).

Freshmen Amanda Jones (Mastic Beach, N.Y.) and MacKenzie Gisler (Ronkonkoma, N.Y.) were both named Second Team All-Conference, while senior Mia Murrell (Shirley, N.Y.) was tabbed to the All-Sportsmanship team.

Hoffman, the #1 player for FSC, posted a 10-5 record in singles and was 13-3 in doubles matches, including a perfect 6-0 in conference play.

Collings tallied an unblemished 6-0 mark at both #2 singles and #2 doubles in Skyline Conference matches this season. Overall she went 8-5 at second singles and was 13-3 in doubles matches.

Jones held a remarkable 14-2 record in doubles play, with a 6-6 mark as the Rams #3 singles player. She was 7-0 at top-flight doubles (6-0 in conference play) and 7-2 at second doubles.

Gisler went 6-0 at both #2 doubles and #4 singles for Farmingdale State in 2022. She was 10-4 in singles matches and 14-2 in doubles.

Waterhouse, in his 16th year at the helm of the women's tennis team, led the Rams to their seventh Skyline Conference Championship. This marks the 12th time the Plattsburgh, N.Y., native has garnered Coach of the Year accolades from his peers during his tenure at FSC, including the sixth time on the women's side and fourth in a row (2012-13; 2015-16; 2019-20; 2020-21; 2021-22; 2022-23).
