Indianapolis, Ind. - The NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Committee has selected the 42 teams that will compete in the 2021 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships.

Farmingdale State (6-2) will open with a First Round match against Rhode Island College (9-0) on Friday, May 14th at 9:00 a.m. at Lifetime Fitness in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. The winner will play host school Emory University (5-3) in the Second Round on Saturday, May 15th at 1:00 p.m.

The other two schools in the five-team pod are Williams College (2-3) and John Carroll University (9-0). They will play a Second Round match on Saturday at 9:00 a.m.

The two Second Round winners will meet in the Sweet 16 on Sunday, May 16th at 3:00 p.m.

FSC punched their ticket to the NCAA Championship after defeating top-seeded St. Joseph's-Long Island, 5-3, in the Skyline Conference Final this past weekend. Sophomore Rosa Lettieri (West Islip, N.Y.) was tabbed the Most Outstanding Player of the Championship.

Rhode Island earned their spot in the Tournament after winning the Little East Conference Championship over Plymouth State, 5-0. The Anchorwomen have won four straight conference titles and 41 consecutive Little East matches.

The teams will play a single-elimination tournament with the first, second- and third-rounds played at predetermined sites, Friday-Sunday, May 14-16. The University of the South and the Chattanooga Sports Commission will host the team championships finals, which will be held May 24-26 at Champions Tennis Club in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
