Farmingdale State Defeats Berkeley (NY) College in Final Spring Match

Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's tennis team played host to non-conference opponent Berkeley (N.Y.) College in the final match of their spring season this afternoon and earned a 9-0 win. The Rams close out their 2018-19 schedule with a 12-5 overall record.

FSC senior Celine Zollinger (Franklin Square, N.Y.) and freshman Shari Jackson (Amityville, N.Y.) earned an 8-0 win at first doubles as the Rams led 3-0 heading into singles competition.

In singles, Zollinger, sophomore Cameren Jackson (Copiague, N.Y.) and junior Julia Marino (Oyster Bay, N.Y.) each earned 6-0, 6-0 victories in the first through third positions. The remainder of the matches were won via forfeit.
