FSC Earns 9-0 Victory at Sarah Lawrence

Bronxville, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's tennis team traveled to Bronxville, N.Y. for a Skyline Conference match at Sarah Lawrence and earned a 9-0 victory. The Rams have won four straight matches and improved to 9-2 overall and 3-0 in conference play.

At first doubles, the FSC pairing of junior Kayla Reidy (Sayville, N.Y.) and freshman Rosa Lettieri (West Islip, N.Y.) recorded a 6-0 win, while freshmen Nicole Tzanetos (Merrick, N.Y.) and Nicole Ferguson (Shirley, N.Y.) won by a score of 6-0 in the second position. At #3 doubles, freshman Shari Jackson (Amityville, N.Y.) and sophomore Cameren Jackson (Copiague, N.Y.) notched a 6-1 victory to round out the sweep.

In singles, Farmingdale State's Reidy (8-3), Lettieri (8-3), Tzanetos (8-0), senior Celine Zollinger (Franklin Square, N.Y.) (8-2), junior Julia Marino (Oyster Bay, N.Y.) (8-1) and freshman Jessica Lopipero (Bethpage, N.Y.) (8-6) all earned victories in the first through sixth positions, respectively.

FSC next will host Skyline opponent St. Joseph's-Long Island on Monday, October 8th at 6:00 p.m.
