Farmingdale, N.Y. - The women's tennis team earned the #1 seed for the playoffs and captured their fourth straight Skyline Conference title this year after defeating #4 Sage, 5-0, and #3 St. Joseph's-LI, 5-2.
In the First Round of the NCAA Division III Tournament the Rams traveled to Middlebury College where they matched up with SUNY Geneseo. FSC fell 5-0 and finished the season with a 15-5 record.
Farmingdale State had four players earn All-Conference honors. Senior's Tatiana Rosamilia (Malverne, N.Y.) and Priscilla Signore (Staten Island, N.Y.) were each named to the First Team, while Qurat-ul-ain Rai (Lahore, Pakistan) and Kayla Reidy (Sayville, N.Y.) earned Second Team honors.
Signore, the Skyline Championship Most Outstanding Player, was 12-5 at both #1 singles and doubles this season. Rosamalia finished 12-4 at second singles and Rai ended 11-3 at #3 singles.
Head coach Adam Waterhouse was also named the Skyline Conference Coach of the Year.
FSC graduated four seniors this year.
