Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's tennis team used a 9-0 victory over Brooklyn College on Monday afternoon to earn their fourth straight win.
At first singles, the FSC (10-4) pairing of Priscilla Signore (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Qurat-ul-ain Rai (Lahore, Pakistan) carded an 8-0 shutout win, while Tatiana Rosamilia (Malverne, N.Y.) and Kayla Reidy (Sayville, N.Y.) teamed for an 8-0 victory at second doubles. Farmingdale State's Savannah Haworth (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) and Julia Marino (Oyster Bay, N.Y.) rounded out the doubles competition with an 8-2 win in the third slot.
The Rams cruised through singles play as all six competitors earned straight set victories: Signore (6-0, 6-1), Rosamilia (6-0, 6-0), Rai (6-0, 6-1), Reidy (6-0, 6-0), Olivia Stauffer (Huntington, N.Y.) (6-0, 6-0) and Celine Zollinger (Franklin Square, N.Y.) (6-0, 6-0).
FSC next will play host to Mount Saint Mary on Friday, October 14th at 4:00 p.m.
