Farmingdale State - 7, The Sage Colleges - 2
Albany, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's tennis team cruised to a 7-2 victory today against The Sage Colleges (3-4, 2-2). The Rams now stand at 7-4 overall, 3-1 in conference play.
Leading 2-1 after doubles, Farmingdale State was en route to the Skyline win with five singles wins. Freshman Kayla Reidy (Sayville, N.Y.) posted a 6-0, 6-0 shutout, while senior Priscilla Signore (Staten Island, N.Y.) and junior Qurat-ul-ain Rai (Lehore, Pakistan) both won their matches 6-0, 6-1.
The Rams will now host the College of Staten Island on Wednesday, September 28 for a non-conference match at 4:30 p.m.
