Rams Headed to Bowdoin for Women's Tennis NCAA's

Brunswick, Maine - The Farmingdale State College women's tennis team earned a bid to the 2016 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championship this fall after winning the Skyline Conference Title. The Rams have drawn Gwynedd Mercy (17-1) in the First Round match and will travel to host-site Bowdoin College for a regional beginning on Thursday at Pickard Courts.

Bowdoin received a first-round bye and will play Friday against the winner of Thursday's 11:00 a.m. match between Farmingdale State/Gwynedd Mercy. The other Thursday first-round match will feature Colby-Sawyer and UMass Dartmouth, with the winner advancing to Friday's second round against Tufts. Friday's winners will play in the regional final on Saturday.

The team advancing out of this weekend's regional will move on to the Kalamazoo, Michigan for this year's NCAA Division III Team Championship, May 23-25.

This season, the Rams boast a 14-2 overall record and on October 24th won their third consecutive Skyline Championship with a 5-1 over St. Joseph's-L.I. Farmingdale State is led by two First Team All-Conference selections in juniors Priscilla Signore (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Tatiana Rosamilia (Malverne, N.Y.).
