Patchogue, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's tennis team remained undefeated in the Skyline Conference with an 8-1 victory over St. Joseph's (L.I.). The Rams improved to 9-2 overall, while the Golden Eagles fell to 8-2, 2-2 in conference play.
Farmingdale State won the 1st and 3rd doubles to start the match, with 8-4 victories from #1 tandem of Priscilla Signore and Qurat-ul-ain Rai and the #3 team of Denise Liguori and Madison Schrader.
The Rams swept the singles matches, including tiebreaker wins at #3 singles by Michelle Fredericks (6-4, 7-6 (7-3)) and #6 Schrader (7-6 (7-2), 6-2).
Farmingdale State will next host Purchase College on Thursday, October 15th at 4:30 p.m. The Rams will have Senior Day for Denise Liguori, playing in her final regular-season match.
