Rams Roll to Non-Conference win over Baruch

Farmingdale State - 7, Baruch College - 2


Flushing, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's tennis team came home with a 7-2 victory over Baruch last night, in a non-conference match at the USTA Center in Flushing, N.Y. The Rams improved to 7-1 overall while the Bearcats dropped to 5-5 on the season.

In doubles action, Farmingdale State held a 2-1 advantage after an 8-4 win was posted by sophomore Priscilla Signore (Staten Island, N.Y.) and Tatiana Rosamilia (Malverne, N.Y.) at 2nd doubles, while the 3rd doubles team of junior Denise Liguori (Massapequa, N.Y.) and sophomore Michelle Fredericks (Farmingdale, N.Y.) won decidingly 8-1.

In singles play, five more wins led the Rams to the eventual 7-2 win.

Farmingdale State will travel to face Purchase College on Saturday, October 4th at 11:00 a.m.
