New York, N.Y. - Each week the Skyline Conference highlights one student-athlete for their success on and off the field. This week the Skyline Spotlight features Farmingdale State women's tennis senior Jessica Sickles.

2014-15 Season Highlights: Sickles was named the Skyline Player of the Week on Sept. 22…leads the Rams with a 6-1 record in the first singles position and is currently 4-3 at No. 1 doubles…riding a five-match singles winning streak...did not lose a game in wins over both Hunter (Sept. 10) and Sarah Lawrence (Sept. 23) at the No. 1 flight. 

Career Highlights: Jessica has been the No. 1 singles and doubles player at Farmingdale State her entire four-year career…named the Skyline Player of the Year as a freshman in 2011...garnered first-team All-Conference distinction in both 2012 and 2013...holds a career singles record of 34-15...Twice named to the All-Farmingdale State Team (2013 & 2014), which recognizes the Top-10 athletes at Farmingdale State.

In The Classroom: She is a Sport Management major and currently holds an impressive 3.26 grade point average. Sickles was named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll in the Fall of 2011 and the Fall of 2013.

Did You Know?: Jessica will be graduating a semester early and is getting married this December. She will be moving to California.
