Farmingdale State - 9, Mount Saint Mary - 0
Newburgh, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's tennis team defeating the defending Skyline Conference Champions today, Mount Saint Mary College, 9-0 on their home court in Newburgh, N.Y. The Rams improved to 6-2 overall, while the Knights fell to 1-7.
Farmingdale State led 3-0 after doubles play with an 8-5 win at 1st doubles, 8-2 at 2nd doubles and 8-0 at third doubles.
In the singles competitions, freshman Tatiana Rosamilia (Malverne, N.Y.) posted a 6-0, 6-0 win in the #5 spot, as the Rams rolled to the 9-0 shutout to improve to 2-0 in Skyline play.
Farmingdale State will now travel to face St. Joseph's on Thursday, October 10th at 5:00 p.m. in another Skyline match.
