William Paterson - 5, Farmingdale State - 4
Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's tennis team fell, 5-4, in a home non-conference match versus William Paterson on Wednesday afternoon.
In doubles competition, the Rams (4-2) earned one point as freshmen Tatiana Rosamilia (Malverne, N.Y.) and Diana Selover (Oceanside, N.Y.) picked up an 8-6 win over Conroy Fallon (Sayreville, N.J.) and Charisse Smalls (Lakewood, N.J.) in the third position.
At second singles, freshman Priscilla Signore (Staten Island, N.Y.) tallied a 7-6 (7-2), 6-4 victory, while Rosamilia earned a 6-1, 6-4 win in the fourth position. Sophomore Denise Liguori (Massapequa, N.Y.) captured a 6-2, 6-2 win in fifth singles.
Farmingdale State next will travel to Oneonta State for a non-conference match on Saturday, September 28th at 1:00 p.m.
