Hunter College - 6, Farmingdale State - 3
Farmingdale, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State women's tennis team fell 6-3 to Hunter College in their season opening match on Friday afternoon. The Rams stand at 0-1 overall, while Hunter improved to 1-0.
In singles play, senior Laura Earlie (Moriches, N.Y.) and sophomore Alyssa Krolick (Islip, N.Y.) picked up wins, while Earlie and freshman Denise Liguori (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) teamed up for the Rams only win in doubles play.
Farmingdale State will now host Yeshiva on Tuesday, September 11 at 8:00 p.m.
