- Jessica Sickles named Player of the Week -
New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the eighth Women's Tennis report for the 2011 season this afternoon, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.
Freshman Jessica Sickles (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) was named the Skyline Conference Player of the Week for women's tennis. Sickles was simply unstoppable against the top two seeds in the Skyline Tourney. She keyed a 5-4 win over SJC, with a 7-5, 6-0 singles victory and 9-8 (7-4) doubles win. In a tough 5-4 loss to MSMC, she toughed out a 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (10-3) singles win and an 8-4 doubles triumph.
