Newburgh, N.Y. - The Farmingdale State tennis team fell to Mount Saint Mary College in Saturday's tennis match in Newburgh, N.Y. The Knights now hold an 11-1, 6-0 record, while the Rams are 7-4, 3-2 in the Skyline.

Farmingdale State freshman Jessica Sickles (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) posted two wins, including an impressive 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (10-3) tiebreaker at first singles. She also defeated Annie Llewellyn and Gab Murphy-Goldberg with junior teammate Kristina Rossano (Franklin Square, N.Y.) at first singles with an 8-4 win.

Freshman Alex Bentz (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) continued her undefeated streak (11-0) at second singles with a 7-5, 6-2 victory over Jaimee Lubniewski. Junior Laura Earlie (Moriches, N.Y.) also posted a win at 5th singles over Llewellyn by a score of 6-2, 6-2.

The Rams will now face St. Joseph's on Sunday, October 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at St. John the Baptist for the final conference match of the regular-season.
