- Sickles named Rookie of the Week, Earlie named to Honor Roll -
New York, N.Y. - The Skyline Conference released the sixth Women's Tennis report for the 2011 season this afternoon, including Player of the Week, Rookie of the Week, Honor Roll and Conference statistics.
Freshman Jessica Sickles (Massapequa Park, N.Y.) was named the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week for women's tennis. Sickles won the award for the second consecutive week, leading the Rams to two convincing league wins. Farmingdale State's first singles and doubles player won 4 & 2 vs. Sage and 1 & 0 vs. NYU-Poly, as well as both doubles matches.
Junior Laura Earlie (Moriches, N.Y.) was named to the Skyline Conference Player of the Week Honor Roll. Earlie lost only five games in winning two singles matches and only one game in two doubles matches in 2-0 week.
